Gastronomy: the Canton of Valais is a gastronomic treasure trove, home to nearly 5,000 hectares of vineyards. When you visit this region, the quintessential local product to savor and bring home is undoubtedly the exceptional Valais wine. Thanks to abundant sunshine, the Valais vineyards cultivate around sixty grape varieties, ensuring that there’s a wine to suit every palate.
The fertile lands of Valais offer an array of other delicacies, from hearty and aromatic rye bread to versatile chestnuts, and an assortment of cheeses, including the world-famous raclette and Fribourg fondue. The cuisine of Valais, like its people, is characterized by its generosity and warmth.

Skiing In Brig, you can look forward to 34 kilometres of slopes served by 8 ski lifts. You can also have lunch in one of its high-altitude restaurants.
