Your journey commences in the enchanting city of Krakow, where your first day in Poland offers optional exploration. Afterward, embark on a picturesque drive south towards the Slovakian border, where your charming wooden chalet accommodation awaits. All our destinations are meticulously designed to cater to non-kiters as well.
Pilsko, standing as the second-highest mountain at 1557 meters in the Żywiec Beskids mountain range, is strategically situated on the Polish-Slovak border. The allure of this destination lies in its diverse kiting spots, some nestled in Poland, some in Slovakia, and others spanning both countries. The choice is yours!
Pilsko welcomes snowkiters of all levels, making it an ideal location to hone your snowkiting skills. The prime window for snowkiting at this locale is between December and March. In the rare event of unfavorable winds, fret not, for a plethora of winter activities awaits you nearby, including ski slopes with remarkable freeride tracks, ski touring, and more. Your dream winter adventure is just around the corner!

Our snowkiting paradise unfolds at the summit of Pilsko mountain, where an awe-inspiring adventure awaits. Within its proximity, a dynamic terrain landscape greets you, showcasing ridges, slopes, and the distinctive regional vegetation. Here, the wind is at your service, as any direction proves favorable thanks to the summit’s flat dome. Take a moment to savor the breathtaking panorama from the summit of Pilsko mountain. Where you stay
Hotel Puro****
Puro Hotel in Krakow, located in the heart of the city, provides a vibrant base for your snowkite adventure. Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Krakow on your first night. The next day, venture south to our snowkite location for an exhilarating experience. Enjoy the best of both worlds with city exploration and snowkiting thrill.
Puro Hotel Kraków is a place in which an innovative design is perfectly mixed up with local elements and timeless elegance.The hotel is located next to Galeria Krakowska and main train station – Kraków Główny. A stroll to the Main Square takes no longer than 10 minutes. The Airport Balice is located in the suburbs, about 30 minutes drive from Puro Hotel or 17 minutes ride on the fast train from the Main Railway Station.
Aparthotel Stare Miasto
Aparthotel Stare Miasto is located in the very centre of Kraków’s Old Town, just 1-minute walk from the Main Market Square. The unique design of the apartments comes with antique furniture, marble floors and special features such as an upright piano, or even hot tubs in some.

Following your first night in Krakow, set out to Aparthotel Narciarska 2, nestled at the base of Pilsko Mountain, just 20 meters from the chairlift station. It serves as an excellent ski hub, and from here, a trail leads to Hala Miziowa and onward to the top of Pilsko, where the snowkite spot awaits.
Each of the 19 chalet-style apartments ensures complete independence and a sense of privacy in your living space. Most apartments are equipped with saunas, providing a touch of luxury. Experience the thrill of skiing with the comfort of home amenities.
In case of low wind conditions
Unfortunately, as you would know if you kitesurf often, the wind even in perfect and renown kiting spots doesn’t always pan-out. So we at Snowkite Sensation make sure that there is plenty for you to do in this unfortunate scenario.
Other Winter Sports: While we’re all about snowkiting, Pilsko offers diverse winter activities to enjoy. Alpine or backcountry skiing here is a pure delight. The small but charming ski resort provides access to 11 marked pistes, all serviced by a total of 10 ski lifts. So, even if the winds decide to take a break, the snowy slopes are your backup plan for endless enjoyment.
