The Ibex is an open-cell depower foil designed around one idea: get you safely up any mountain, in any wind condition. Its profile and arc were drawn to be as stable as possible, so the kite sits where you park it while you are picking a line across a glacier or climbing a couloir.
Rigid where it matters
H and D ribs, tension straps across the wing and mesh-covered air intakes keep the canopy tight and the shape honest, even when the wind gets messy. Using D ribs also let Peter Lynn strip out a large part of the bridle, which means less drag and sharper handling.

The Stop ‘n Go 5-line safety system gives you a genuine landing option wherever you are, which is exactly what you want when the nearest road is two valleys away.
